On the Agenda for the May 15 Meeting . . .

We have a very full agenda for our next meeting, so we will adhering to a very tight schedule to complete he meeting on time. As is mentioned several times, if you have questions for the presenters of the Jet Bar expansion or the Levi's Store, please forward them ASAP so the presenters can include answers to your questions in their presentations. Business on the agenda includes:

  1. Meredith Wheeler, a representative from Levi Strauss & Co., will present the plans for Levi's new "boutique" store at 525 Castro Street, the space formerly occupied by "Castro Video" which recently closed when the owner decided to retire. Levi's is seeking a support endorsement for the EVPA. If you have any questions for that you want to ensure will be asked, please forward them to planning@evpa.org BEFORE NOON on Wednesday May 7th.
  2. EVPA Member Greg Bronstein, owner of the Flavors you Crave and Lime restaurant will be presenting his proposal to expand the JET Bar into the space formerly occupied by the Reaves Gallery at 2344 Market Street. He will be seeking support from the EVPA for this project. If you have any questions that you want to ensure will be asked, please forward them to planning@evpa.org BEFORE NOON on Wednesday May 7th.
  3. Sister Barbi Mitzvah will provide an overview of the 2008 Pink Saturday plans.
  4. Reports from the SF Muni TEP & the Upper Market Workshop
  5. Member ratification of Alan Beach to serve as the Association Treasurer
  6. Re-introduction to the proposed bylaws changes, which will require a 2/3 vote for passage. Visit evpa.org/bylaws2008.htm to review the proposed changes
